Court Awards Over $4.8M in Insurance Fraud Case Against Medical Facility

On April 1, 2025, the Superior Court of New Jersey ruled in favor of Allstate in a long-standing insurance fraud case involving a medical facility and its managing doctors. The court found that a chiropractor and others operated under an unlawful business structure that violated the New Jersey Insurance Fraud Prevention Act (IFPA).

The court ordered over $4.8 million in damages. The chiropractor was found to bear the substantial majority of the liability, allowing Allstate to recover the full amount of the damages from the chiropractor.
